Rule01

Examination Attendance

An examination will be held at the end of each term and no student will be allowed to take the examinations earlier or later. Those absent from an examination without a grave cause will be considered as having failed. In case of illness, a Govt. doctor's certificate should be produced.

Rule02

Subject Absence

Those who absent themselves in any subject shall be considered failed in that subject and shall not be awarded any position, and shall not be re-examined. In case of grave illness, a medical certificate to the effect shall be produced.

Rule03

Continuous Assessment

Regular periodical tests will be conducted in addition to the term examinations. Marks obtained in all the tests and term examinations will be taken into consideration for promotion.

Rule04

Attendance Requirement

A pupil shall be eligible to appear in the Final Examination only if he/she has 85% of the total attendance.

Rule05

Malpractice

Anyone found indulging in any malpractice during an examination is liable to be debarred from further examinations.

Rule06

Promotion Criteria

Criteria for promotion after Final Examination shall be 45% of the aggregate marks obtained by the candidate in all the papers and examinations besides the internal assessment made by the school.

Rule08

Consecutive Failures

A student who fails in two consecutive final examinations in the same class will have to opt out of the school.

Rule09

Final Authority

The scheme of promotion of the school management is that the decision of the Principal/school authority in the matter of promotion is final and irrevocable.

Rule10

Parental Review

While reviewing each report, guardians are requested to examine the homework and school diary of the students. It will be helpful in understanding the progress he/she has made in accordance with the expectation of the parent/guardian.

Rule07

Results & Re-evaluation

Results declared at the end of the year are final and will not be reconsidered, nor will the answer paper be shown. If re-evaluation is sought, Rs. 300/- will be charged for each answer sheet along with a written application by the guardian.

ICSE evaluation criteria for promotion will strictly follow Board standards.

To be promoted to a higher class, Pass-mark for English is compulsory as per ICSE evaluation criteria.

Promotion to a higher class in all ordinary situations would be 45% of the aggregate of all 3 term examinations for each subject along with all prescribed conditions.

Promotion to a higher class does not guarantee automatic renewal of admission to the school. Re-admission may be asked based on disciplinary behaviour of the previous year.

ICSE criteria for Class X include Pass-mark for English, SUPW and other 4 subjects for obtaining a Pass Certificate.
